Session 1: Let’s Roll with it Designed for babies  3-6 months old

Focusing on babies less than 6 months old, starting to show signs of hitting, batting, reaching for toys, may be lifting head while on tummy,  kicking feet, shifting side to side, this workshop will share ways how to help your baby develop core, neck, and arm strength to promote rolling and progress in their rolling skills. Additional discussion about play in varied positions including supported sitting and how to progress to independent sitting will be shared.

Meets Wednesdays 8/30-9/20 11:30am-12:15pm Member $79 Non-member $89 Cost for drop-in class: $20. Drop-in class is only available on the day of the workshop if the workshop is not at capacity and must be purchased at the front desk.

Session 2: Get your crawl on! Designed for babies 6 months old or older

Focusing on babies 6 months or older, showing signs of attempting to sit by themselves for a few seconds, attempting to transition from one position to another (sitting to tummy, tummy to hand and knees), this workshop will share some precursors to crawling, how to encourage progression through crawling patterns. Further discussion to share on types of sitting,  challenging babies balance and coordination in sitting and transitional movements.

Session 3: For new walkers Designed for babies 10-24 months old

Focusing on babies 10 months or older, who are taking steps with hands held or while pushing something all the way to walking over obstacles and starting to try more balance related tasks. This workshop will share ways of how to encourage progression with walking and other motor skills related to play for the young toddler.
